Women's History Month 2002

The contributions of 31 athletes to B.C. sport were recognized by Minister of State for Women’s Equality Lynn Stephens at an exhibit unveiling October 21, 2002 at the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame: Celebrating B.C. Women in Sport — Leaders and Legends. 

Their accomplishments have made them part of history — and their dreams inspire the future.  These athletes or teams were selected by a respected committee of leaders in B.C. sport.
