What do the Regional Offices do? |
| A. |
The Regional
Managers are the the primary regional
contact for improved access to provincial
government services, resources, and program
funding information designed to assist
communities and regions achieve their
economic and community development goals.
We link local government staff and economic
development professionals to provincial
programs and initiatives such as WorkBC,
Asia-Pacific, regional trusts, Towns for
Tomorrow, Trees for Tomorrow, the Community
Development Trust, municipal infrastructure
grant programs, Mountain Pine Beetle
mitigation, and the 2010 Winter Games.
We also help identify
and implement opportunities for business development,
business retention, investment and economic
development. |

capacity in your community or will help to
find suitable resources for your community. |

information about local skills & labour
initiatives, and can assist you to access
