Community Services Minister Ida Chong was in China Nov. 17-27, 2007 promoting twinning opportunities between local governments in China and British Columbia.

The Province recently released a Twinning Toolkit to support local governments in building or enhancing "sister city" relationships.

Twinning is a key element of B.C.'s Asia Pacific Initiative, aimed at increasing trade between North America and the Asia Pacific region.
