Tuition Assistance Program
Funding for Books
The cost of books can be covered by Tuition Assistance Program funding, within the program’s overall maximum of $5,000 in funding.
If you are approved for Tuition Assistance Program funding, you may recover the cost of books by providing the program with the following at the end of your course:
- A printout of the school book list showing the books the school required you to purchase for your course.
- Original receipt(s) showing your book purchase(s).
- A photocopy of your certificate of course completion.
Once we receive and review this information, we will reimburse the cost of the books to you.
Advance funding for books
If you do not have the funds to purchase required books prior to taking the course, you may apply for advance funding. To receive advance funding for books, you will be required to sign a
declaration committing you to attending the course, completing it, and participating in a feedback survey.
To apply, you must send us the following:
- A signed and initialled copy of the
Declaration Form.

- A printout of the school book list showing the books the school required you to purchase for your course.
Please be aware that we will need at least three weeks to respond to an application for advance funding.
If you are approved for hardship status, we will provide Tuition Assistance Program funding for books in advance.
