Industry Working Group
A working group of employer, industry association,
union and government representatives worked together
to develop the basic rules of all Community
Development Trust programs while the programs were
being established in 2008. This working group
represented the geographic diversity of the forest
industry and British Columbia.
The working group met and discussed the design of
the programs in detail. Its members assisted with
the development of the programs, approved their
general eligibility rules and helped clarify program
principles after the programs were announced.
